The Camellia of Busan
Dongbaek 1917 takes its name from Busan’s camellia flower and a desire to carry Korean brewing traditions into the future. We celebrate the care that turns rice, nuruk and time into a memorable drink.
A Shared Beginning
Five founders brought together through traditional liquor education joined forces to share the culture of Korean home brewing. Their story began with the Busan Dongbaek Cooperative in 2019.
